Steadman Philippon Sports Medicine Fellowship

Description: The Steadman Philippon Fellowship is a one-year Knee, Shoulder and Hip Sports Medicine Fellowship. Each year, Dr. Richard Steadman, Dr. Marc Philippon, Dr. Peter Millett, Dr. William Sterett, and Dr. Robert LaPrade accept six fellowship candidates to participate in the program. The program begins the last week of July. The fellows participate in a rotational schedule that allows each physician to garner experience in a variety of orthopaedic sports medicine specialties. Dr. Steadman’s service focuses on the surgical and conservative treatment of knee disorders. Dr. Philippon specializes in hip arthroscopy and joint preservation. Dr. Millett focuses primarily on shoulder surgery and reconstruction and also practices knee and elbow sports medicine. Dr. Sterett specializes in knee and shoulder sports medicine. Dr. LaPrade’s service focuses on complex knee disorders.
